Year 6 fees
As our Year 6 are an important part of the Senior School, fees are charged at Senior School rates. This is justified in that the Year 6 pupils enjoy full Senior School status, with many of their lessons being taught by specialist teachers for example in Science, Physical Education, MFL and Food and Nutrition. They have full use of facilities in the Senior School science laboratories, Food and Nutrition and Textiles Departments, art rooms, music rooms and the library. In addition they are encouraged to join in with activities designed to assist the transition to the Senior School such as the Middle School choir and various music groups.
Entrance Assessment Fee £50
Registration Fee (payable on acceptance of a place) £150
Deposit for breakages, lost library books etc: £200, payable with first term’s fees.
Sibling Discount Scheme
We offer a Sibling Discount Scheme for both the Junior and Senior School at The Maynard:
Second daughter discount: 10% reduction in fees per annum
Third and any subsequent daughter discount: 20% reduction in fees per annum
Fees for Extra Subjects
The majority of extra-curricular activities are offered at no extra charge.
The exceptions to this are as follows:

Speech and Drama (2011/12)
£78 per term (40-minute sessions,
