Animated Year 4 Girls!
Boxes, coloured paper, scissors, glue, Lego and assorted small toys, along with a wealth of digital cameras, laptops and 18 Year 4 pupils, was the scene that confronted anyone coming into the J2 classroom on Wednesday 1st February.

Devon Wildlife Partnership Launch
The Maynard Junior School has linked up with the Devon Wildlife Trust and three other local schools in a new initiative to encourage closer links between children, learning and wildlife.

The professional artist, Francesca Dawson (an ex Maynardian Art student!) gave a wonderful talk and demonstration to all the L4 students on Monday 16 January 2012 as part of their Art & Design drawing project 'Animal Fur'.
