During the February half term, 45 Maynardians (accompanied by a few willing members of staff!) travelled for 22 hours by coach to Austria for an action packed week of skiing.
The group stayed in the Hotel Gruberhof in Germany which is located on the Austrian/German border, perfect for sampling the local German and Austrian cuisine and culture. As well as being able to enjoy the impressive skiing facilities, the girls also had the opportunity to go swimming, bowling and even enjoy a traditional Austrian evening and Snow Ball disco!
The group all had an amazing time and whether they were there to improve their skiing or learn the sport from scratch they are all in agreement that they gained lots of valuable new skills.
Thanks to Mrs Thorne, Dr Rudling, Mrs Powell, Miss Millar and Jack for a brilliant fun filled trip.
