Year 5 student Emily Eveling competed in the 2012 Schools Biathlon semi-finals at the University of Bath and has won a place in the National Finals at Crystal Palace.

German Exchange to Hildesheim

On Sunday 12 February thirteen members of Upper 4, Lower 5 and Upper 5 set off on the second leg of this year’s exchange with our partner school of five decades, Scharnhorst Gymnasium, Hildesheim. A group of German students had visited us in October and the time had come for us to spend a week with our host families.

Three Peak Challenge for Georgina

Georgina Hopgood in L5 will be taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge at the end of June 2011. This will involve climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon in 24 hours. Not only will Georgina be taking on this very tough challenge, but she will also be attempting to break a record and become the Youngest Solo Person to complete the Three Peaks Challenge.

A team of experts from the Exeter Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) joined the Year 6 students on 9 February and challenged them to think about what they would do if they ever discovered a hidden tomb.
