The Maynard offers a programme tailored to individual interests and requirements. Students have a free choice of AS level subjects and under usual circumstances everyone gets her first-choice combination of subjects.

The A level system gives everyone the chance to study four subjects at AS level and the usual pattern is to carry on with three of the subjects to A2 in the Upper Sixth. Study of A2 subjects leads to full A level certification.
