The AQA Baccalaureate
The AQA Baccalaureate is a complete curriculum programme, adding value to core A-level subjects through broader study, the Extended Project Qualification and enrichment activities. It is available to any student in the Sixth Form studying at least three A-levels.
Many post-16 students and schools/colleges are caught in a conundrum – how to demonstrate that they possess the suite of qualifications, skills and qualities that will differentiate them from others when applying for university and employment. The AQA Bacc allows students to achieve this. It is innovative, flexible, interactive and available to all Maynard Sixth Formers.
The AQA Bacc also:
- Offers students an exciting study framework that motivates them to explore new challenges and prepares them for adulthood and higher education
- Helps students to gain formal recognition for activities they already enjoy
- Teaches students to be able to talk confidently at interviews about the skills and experience they acquired through and beyond academic study
- Enables students to have a portable enrichment activities record of which they can be proud.
