Please help us to expand our bursary programme

Without your help, we can not achieve our aim of offering a place at the Maynard to every able girl, regardless of family income. Means-tested bursaries can make a real difference to girls who receive them, particularly those with difficult family circumstances, and we very much hope you will give us your support.

We would particularly appreciate regular gifts as these are efficient to process and so reduce administrative costs, and a reliable income helps us plan for the future, which is extremely important for a bursary programme supporting girls throughout their school careers.

Single gifts are also most welcome — every contribution will make a real difference — and we can accept donations by cheque or debit card. We are not currently accepting credit card payments as the card companies charge a processing fee and we would prefer to see every penny of your donation going directly into the Appeal Fund.
Anyone who pays UK income tax can Gift Aid their donation, whether it is a regular contribution or a single gift. The Gift Aid scheme allows the School to reclaim the tax on your donation, and so increases the support we receive at no extra cost to you.

You may also like to consider leaving a legacy to the School. This is a lasting, effective and tax-efficient way of helping girls in need after allowing for your current commitments.
