Tickets will be on sale from Reception, the money raised going towards the cost of the show. The ticket prices are £6 for adults and £2 for students.

The Maynard Cookbook Official Launch Party

We are proud to announce the official book launch of our fabulous new cookbook, ‘Mmm…Maynard’, on Thursday 4 February, 4.30pm at Darts Farm, Topsham.

Mmm…Maynard! The cookbook, which is on sale now, is packed full of delicious and nutritious recipes chosen by students and staff, all of which have been enthusiastically tried and tested by the girls in their Food and Nutrition lessons! And the end result is enough to rival some of the other more well known cookbooks on the shelves, with recipes that are simple and easy to follow, yet varied and with very impressive results.

Sian Fanous, Head of Food and Nutrition, who produced the cookbook, said ‘We are delighted to have created this book as a celebration of the Maynard’s love for food and cooking. We had enormous fun choosing and making the recipes, and I hope that the book will inspire people to get excited about cooking and try out new recipes. The recipes appeal to all ages; I enjoy cooking them as much as my nine year old son!’

Parents, students and staff from the Maynard School will be invited to the book launch, which will include talks from Sian Fanous, Headmistress Bee Hughes and James Dart of Darts Farm as well as cookery demonstrations by Maynard students and the chance to taste some of the recipes from the book.
