Maynard Parents’ Association

Hi and a big welcome to the Maynard Parents Association (MPA)!

The MPA is a Charitable Trust which seeks to raise additional funds for the school. We have two main fundraising events during the year, The Christmas Fair in the Autumn Term and The Quiz Night in the Spring Term. Both are great fun and the latter gives you the opportunity to pit your skills  against the Headmistresses’s Team. What more could you want? On top of this we also run smaller events, and are always looking for new fundraising ideas.

The MPA also encourages parents to get together with other parents via the MPA Class Representative  system. Class Representatives provide a vital role in communicating details about the MPA events that are taking place and how to get involved, they also provide get togethers for parents in their year group.

The committee is made up of  eight enthusiastic  parents who meet up each term, with the Headmistress and Bursar to discuss ways in which the MPA can help with funding and decide on how funds are allocated. All parents are welcome to these meetings, and we love you to come along. The dates can always be found on the school calendar.

We are always eager to hear about new fundraising ideas or if you would like to get involved help is always needed and appreciated. Please join us at our meetings,  or you could contact us directly, sending an email to [email protected].  We also have an MPA Facebook page, which gives you up to date information about what’s happening with the MPA. As it is a closed group you will need to contact your Class Representative to be invited to join.

We hope we can call upon you all to help make the MPA a success and look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
