We were absolutely delighted to share one of the newest jewels in our crown – our recently refurbished and now beautifully modern Sixth Form Centre – with the wider Maynard community on Thursday evening! A full house of guests were welcomed into the transformed building and had a private view of the brand new space, which has already had the seal of approval from our wonderful Sixth Formers who have been thoroughly enjoying settling in.
“It was such a lovely and cheerful event, and great to see so many generations of Maynardians there,” said Mr Hibberd, Director of Sixth Form. “There was a real buzz about the new centre with students sharing their favourite areas with parents, some parents wishing their own workspaces were so nice! Overall, it just hammered home how well it’s been designed to meet a variety of students’ needs and how well-loved it is already.”
