Record breaking results
The Maynard is thrilled to announce record-breaking A-level results for 2025, with 37% of results being A* (an increase from 31.7% in 2024) confirming our position as the Sunday Times Independent Secondary School of Year South West.
Furthermore, our 2025 GCSE results completely smashed national averages and over a quarter of all results were given the ultimate Grade 9.

- Our Oxbridge offer holders – making up 10% of the year group – all achieved their grades
- 12% of the cohort achieved straight A*s in all their subjects
- The overwhelming majority of leavers are attending Russell Group universities with others choosing vocational careers such as midwifery, fashion and graphic design
