Fees & Admissions Process
Pre-Prep, Junior & Senior School
Fees are due before the commencement of the school term to which they relate and should be paid in full.

Sixth Form
Fees collected by our International Consultancies:
Fees and rates for student homestay and guardianship should be discussed and arranged directly through our international consultancies, Gabbitas Education and Gateway Education.
Fees collected by The Maynard School:
- Registration: £240 inclusive of VAT
- Acceptance deposit: £9,547.20 inclusive of VAT (refunded during final term)
- Tuition fees (2025-2026): £28,641.60 per annum inclusive of VAT
This includes:
- 1 hour of EAL (English as an Additional Language) teaching per week; extra lessons will be provided at an additional cost if recommended.
- Travel on school transport between Exeter and Heathrow at the start and end of each term (Families will be notified of dates to book flights in advance).

From Year 6 to Year 13
Fees collected by The Maynard School:
- Registration: £240 inclusive of VAT
- Acceptance deposit: £480 inclusive of VAT (non-refundable)
- Termly tuition fees (2025-26): £7,863.60 inclusive of VAT
This includes:
- 1 hour of EAL (English as an Additional Language) teaching per week; extra lessons will be provided at an additional cost if recommended.

Pre-Prep, Junior & Senior School
To apply for a place at The Maynard School you can either register with one of our consultancies or approach the school directly via our enquiry form or email.
We are happy to accept applicants throughout the school year and will indicate on our website when our international list is full.
We will consider all applications and a remote assessment will be required prior to being offered a place. If candidates are successful at these tests and a face-to-face or Teams interview, they will be offered a place at the school.

Sixth Form
To apply for a place at The Maynard School you can either register with one of our consultancies or approach the school directly via our enquiry form or email.
We are happy to accept applicants throughout the school year and will indicate on our website when our international list is full.
We will consider all applications, but we expect levels of English to be high (an IELTS score of 5.5 at 15.5 years old for example). We test English proficiency through online testing or school test papers if required. If applicants wish to study Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths, they may be required to take further tests to move through the application process. If candidates are successful at these tests and a face-to-face or Skype interview, they will be offered a place at the school.
