Happiness and Wellbeing

Plenty of research shows girls learn differently to boys. Girls feel at home, get better grades and are more likely to thrive in later life when they learn in supportive, encouraging and calm environments. We are proud to be able to tailor our curriculum specifically for girls, based on hundreds of years of experience, and to offer such a vast array of opportunities away from the classroom. As the Good Schools Guide notes; girls are engaged with their learning, full of infectious enthusiasm for life, keen to reach their potential in everything they do, but are not highly strung, pushed or that much dreaded, much-used accusation “hothoused” in any way.

Pastoral care is exemplary here. Every single parent and pupil that we spoke to expressed how safe, nurtured and genuinely cared for they felt at the school.
