Huge congratulations to all of our amazing Sixth Form mathematicians who recently took on one of two tricky problem-solving challenges with the UK Maths Trust! The results are in and they absolutely smashed it:
- In the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls (MOG), Charlene (Upper 6, Year 13) achieved a Distinction and best in school, and Hannah and Deborah (Upper 6) achieved Merits
- In the brand-new Mathematical Competition for Girls (MCG), Lower 6s (Year 12s) Francesca, Isabella, Olivia and Arianne all achieved distinctions with Francesca being best in school. Also, Elizabeth (Lower 6) and Hazel (Upper 6) achieved Merits
- And a special congratulations goes to Charlene who has qualified, for the second year running, for the British Mathematical Olympiad with an incredible score of 43/50!
We are so proud of them all!
