We seek a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher of Geography to cover maternity leave for the academic year starting in September 2026.  The successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to teach across all key stages including GCSE and A-level, therefore prior experience of delivering A-level will be essential. There will also be a requirement to be involved in the busy schedule of fieldtrips therefore a commitment to these outside normal timetabled lessons will be required.

We seek a well-qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to join a thriving and highly successful department from September 2026. The successful candidate will work within a committed and effective team that routinely shares teaching ideas and good practice whilst continuously developing engaging resources. All members of the department contribute to the Mathematics enrichment programme, including support and extension classes, Oxbridge preparation, national competitions and challenges.

Casual Kitchen Assistant

Are you a friendly, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a busy team? We are looking for a Casual Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team and help provide welcoming dining experience for our students and staff.

About the role:
Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will help assist in the smooth running of our school catering operation. This is a flexible, casual role – ideal for someone who is happy to work on an ad hoc basis, covering staff absence or supporting busy periods.

General:
To assist the Kitchen Manager, Chef and other Kitchen assistants in the smooth running of the catering provision at The Maynard School.

Duties:
To Serve students during morning break and during the lunch time period for students and staff
To assist the catering team in preparing school lunches, packed lunches and hospitality refreshments
To serve, clear and wash up on a rotational basis
To clean and wash the dining room and Kitchen which includes floors and surfaces
All general kitchen duties
