For a Classicist, Rome is an unparalleled destination, brimming with ancient history, culture, and art that directly ties to the foundational principles of Western civilisation.

Rome continues to unearth new discoveries, often in the heart of the city itself. Classicists can tour active archaeological digs and explore the Villa Adriana (Hadrian’s Villa), the Villa d’Este, or Ostia Antica, an ancient port city that offers a rare glimpse into Roman urban life. These sites provide real-world context to Roman cities, their social structures, daily life, and technology.
