Joining us for Sixth Form
Deciding to move to another school for Sixth Form can feel like an intimidating choice to make. However, this is actually one of the best times to join us at The Maynard – we take on several Sixth Form girls from other schools each year and they unfailingly feel right at home before you can say ‘first week over’! We make every effort to be warm and welcoming, as do girls moving up from Upper 5 (Year 11), and it’s a true challenge to pick out who joined us recently versus who’s been here for years.
You’ll find that the stereotypes of a ‘stuck-up’ school fall away quickly. With small class sizes, a relaxed atmosphere, great teacher-student relationships and a friendly face wherever you look, you have the support to express yourself and settle in for a fabulous time.
