Geography beyond the classroom

Our brilliant Geographers were in for a treat last half term with some fascinating field trips!

The Lower 4s (Year 8s) ventured out to Dawlish to research their question, “What should happen to the railway line?”, grappling with the issue of maintaining the railway against climate change and increasing coastal erosion.

Plus, the GCSE group headed to the River Otter to measure how sediment size decreases as discharge increases, completing essential fieldwork for their course.
