Geography trip to Snowdonia and Birmingham

Our Lower 6 (Year 12) geographers have returned from their fascinating four-day trip to Snowdonia and Birmingham!

From Welsh mountains to Birmingham’s cityscape, they explored how places adapt and evolve. They traced the shift from slate mining to adventure tourism at Llechwedd Slate Cavern, investigated glacial landscapes at Cwm Idwal and the Nant Ffrancon Valley, then finished in Birmingham, examining structural economic change and urban regeneration in one of the UK’s largest cities.
