At the end of term, were treated to one of the most highly anticipated school events of the year – House Song! The afternoon saw Armourers, Goldsmiths, Haberdashers and Merchants battle it out for the title.
Goldsmith’s ‘Matilda’ medley was so joyful, hockey sticks and all. Merchants’ performance from ‘Hairspray’ and Habbies’ version of ‘Grease Lightning’ had the whole audience dancing in their seats. Armourers, however, took the title of House Song Winner 2026, with their dynamic performance of a medley from ‘The Greatest Showman’ complete with costumes and moustaches.
And as the staff refuse to turn down an opportunity for a performance, their rendition of ‘Circle of Life’ complete with baby Simba was a real treat!
