With the extreme heat this week, we have unfortunately had to cancel our Junior and Senior Sports Days at the Arena – but that doesn’t mean the fun is over!
Staying in the shade on school grounds armed with sun hats and with plenty of water and sunscreen at the ready, our brilliant Years 3-6 enjoyed a revamped Sports Day today on Leebourne with all the same enthusiasm and House pride as always.
They took part in lightning fast sprints as well as the rather less traditional ice cream obstacle race and duck race, and amazing Armourers came out on top for the third year in a row!
Congratulations to the winning House and to our fabulous Juniors who took the change of plans in stride and did their very best in each and every race. Thank you, too, to our incredible staff for creating such a fantastic alternative Sports Day.
