Undeterred by the change of plans, our Seniors still had a riot of a Sports Day safe from the sun in Bradley Hall today!
The competitors brought their A-game to a slightly less traditional line up of activities that kept all the fun of a regular Sports Day, including an obstacle race, speed bounce, standing long jump, tennis ball wall toss, football scoring (for the World Cup!) and super speedy relays. It was an exceptionally close race: Haberdashers finished with 59 points, only just pipped by Goldsmiths and Armourers who tied with 60… but the marvellous Merchants ultimately came out on top!
Congratulations to our indomitable athletes for their efforts and fantastic sportsmanship as ever, and thank you to our awesome staff who kept the fabulous energy of Sports Day going in a new form!
