We were absolutely delighted to host international violinist Joel Munday for a wonderful afternoon recital and Q&A yesterday!
This incredible opportunity to hear an outstanding performer firsthand was open to the general public as well as our GCSE and A-level music students and senior string players: it was a truly special chance to appreciate musical skill at the highest level, and served as a huge inspiration to many of our budding musicians. Following an exceptional series of solos, he also took the time to share an insight into the life and craft of a professional violinist and answer questions from the audience.
A huge thank you to Joel for taking the time to perform for us and for sharing his remarkable talent, knowledge and enthusiasm! Enjoy this excerpt from a truly memorable afternoon of music!
