Messy fun with Lower 4 kitchen science

Some of our lovely Lower 4s (Year 8s) mixed things up in their Science lesson on Tuesday with delightfully messy kitchen science! They rolled up their sleeves and made gooey oobleck with cornstarch and water (it acts like a liquid when poured and like a solid when pressure is applied!), and then experimented with seitan, a vegan meat substitute, by washing the starch out of bread dough. Educational and splendidly chaotic!
