IT Technician

The Maynard School are looking to recruit an IT Technician who is logically minded with excellent problem-solving skills and has a passion to learn. The role is ideal for an individual who has IT-related qualifications or experience in an IT role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive IT support for staff and students
  • Support a wide range of client devices and their applications
  • Support Windows and Linux servers
  • Manage users and permissions (Active Directory/GPO/ADFS)
  • Manage Office 365 and help develop its potential as a VLE
  • Support VMware and Veeam
  • Support audio visual equipment
  • Support printers and MFDs
  • To perform routine hardware and software maintenance
  • Support the cabled and Wi-Fi network (Switching/VLANs/Routing/Firewalls)
  • Support RDS and VDI
  • Support VOIP phone system

The hours of work will be 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch

Salary circa £17k DOE

Teaching Assistant Full Time Required from September 2020

The Maynard Junior School (KS2) and Pre-Preparatory Department (EYFS/KS1) seek a full-time teaching assistant to join our excellent team.  Applicants must be confident working with pupils aged 4 to 11 years but the main focus of the role will be with KS1.
