Yesterday evening we saw 137 of our exceptional musicians from across the school come together for the spectacular Autumn Concert, a most wonderful celebration of Maynard music!
The programme was packed with breathtaking performances spanning an incredible range of genres, from Danse Macabre and The Muppet Show to ‘The Final Countdown’, split across Opus 1 – featuring the Maynard Concert Orchestra, Junior School Choir, Ukuladies and the Middle School Choir – and Opus 2 – featuring the Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Senior Choir, Chamber Choir, Piano Trio, 24-Strings and Jazz Band.
This concert is always such a highlight of the Autumn term and last night was no exception! The incredible skill, dedication and passion for music on show was a joy to watch and every performer has so much to be proud of. Huge, huge congratulations to all and a massive thank you to the whole team who made the event a resounding success!
