Brilliance at the Cityscape Design Competition

Future architects in Lower 5 (Year 10) and Lower 6 (Year 12) had a fantastic time stretching their skills at the Cityscape Design Competition last Friday!

Organised by the Royal Institute of British Architects, 16 teams from various schools were tasked with designing a hub for St Petrock’s to feed, shelter and support the homeless in Exeter in the space behind the Corn Exchange.

Not only did they learn a great deal about architectural drawings and 3D modelling under the tutelage of a professional architect, they also absolutely excelled; the Lower 5s were the top team overall, and incredible artist Rose (Lower 6) won an award for producing the best 2D drawing!

Huge congratulations to both of our amazing teams!
