We’ve had another absolutely fantastic year for GCSE and A-level results! The Maynard is thrilled to announce record-breaking A-level results for 2025, with 34.3% of results being A* (an increase from 31.7% in 2024) confirming our position as the Sunday Times Independent Secondary School of Year South West. Furthermore, our 2024 GCSE results completely smashed national averages and 70% of grades were 9/7 compared to just 22% across the rest of England.

DEGREE SUBJECTS
We are equally proud that so many of our students pursue interesting degree subjects at top universities with an almost perfect 50/50 split between the Arts and STEM subjects (where nationally women only represent 19% of STEM students). Destinations include Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Durham, Edinburgh, Warwick, Bristol, York, the USA and many more.
