It’s a busy time of year for our Upper 5 Sports Leaders and, having spent the Autumn Term developing their leadership skills and behaviours, they are now practising their communication, organisation and motivation techniques whilst teaching Year 2 multi-games at St Leonard’s Primary School. This will culminate in hosting a sports festival here at the Maynard at the end of the Spring Term.
It’s been a steep learning curve and the girls have been particularly impressive at teaching new activities to a different group of children each week (despite the weather on some days!), but they have made great progress and are really enjoying the experience. A big thank you to St Leonard’s for hosting us!
