Congratulations to our Upper 3 (Year 7) football team who certainly put their best foot forward at the annual Catherine Fraser Memorial Tournament yesterday to finish 2nd in their pool, making it through to the quarter finals in the cup where they suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to the overall tournament winners.
We hold this event particularly dearly with it being in memory of the beautiful Catherine Fraser whose daughter, Dulcie, attended The Maynard for a good many years, leaving the Upper 6 (Year 13) in 2022. It’s always a great honour to be involved and so wonderful to see our girls really loving their football!
