An Exciting Primary Education Debate

Find out about the best education on offer to your daughter aged 4-11

Wednesday 15 March, 5.30pm – 7pm

Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to find out all about why a single-sex independent education could be the very best choice for your daughter. Our panel of experienced speakers, comprising the Heads of the Pre-Prep Department and the Junior School as well as current students, will talk you through the proven benefits of a bespoke Maynard education and how this differs to other schools.

We will also have some of our wonderful parents on hand to talk you through any concerns or questions you may have while deliberating ‘what next?’ for your daughter.

This is the perfect chance to discuss current issues in primary education, (including the effects of recent government cuts in the state sector) as well as the benefits of smaller class sizes, single sex learning, the outdoor classroom and how parents can best prepare their child for school.

We are running a crèche facility in our Reception classroom and outdoor play area so you can bring your children (of any age) if you would like to.

The approximate schedule for the evening is:

5.30pm – Fizz and canapés on arrival.

5.45pm – Short talks from Emma Cook and Steve Smerdon (Heads of Pre-Prep and Junior School) and our Junior School pupils

6.00pm – Parent, pupil and teacher panel answering questions from the audience and debating current issues

6.30pm – More drinks and canapés and a chance for an informal chat

7.00pm – Evening ends

The evening will have an informal feel, and you are welcome to stay for all or part of it. We understand that you may need leave before the evening officially ends, especially if you have young children!

“Anaya’s first term at school has been truly amazing and that’s down to the wonderful staff. You truly have been an answer to our prayers and have given our girl the most perfect start to her schooling.

She is so happy and so loving her learning. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making her schooling so perfect. She is thriving. Thank you.”

Mrs Stoneman, Reception parent.
