Exceptionally industrious Pre-Preppers

The entire Pre-Prep has been very busy with their home learning since the start of term and this week we focus on the Year 2. They have been adding, subtracting, multiplying AND dividing in Maths, as well as creating story maps, re-writing The Tiger Who Came to Tea (we’ve had kangaroos, cats, unicorns and parrots coming to tea!) and designing their ideal gingerbread houses in Literacy, amongst lots of reading, spelling and grammar practice. In Science they have been keen gardeners, planting lots of flowers and plants and observing them as they grow, and spotting all sorts of wildlife. They have also been busy in the garden using natural materials to create some spectacular artwork. We definitely have green and creative fingers in Year 2! On top of all of this they have been really helpful at home, cooking delicious cakes (and beans on toast!), and even helping to mow the lawn and lay decking! A full, fun and productive half term… Mrs Willcock is SO proud of you.
