We have been absolutely blown away by the wonderfully selfless actions of one of our youngest Maynardians, Cami! In August, she raised a staggering £1300 for the fantastic charity ‘Young Lives vs Cancer’ by completing one mile every single day for the whole month – an incredible endeavour embodying the kindness central to our school community.
“I wanted to raise money for sick people, because I used to be sick, and nurses really helped me, so I wanted to help back,” said Cami, when asked why this charity is so close to her heart. She thoroughly enjoyed her active summer – her favourite part being her miles in Madrid! Huge congratulations to Cami!
