We had some incredible results in the recent Mathematical Olympiad for Girls with Megan (Upper 6th), Helena (Upper 6th) and Joey (Lower 6th) all gaining distinction. With an incredibly high score Joey also qualified for the British Olympiad follow on round. Only one thousand students are invited to compete in this round out of the tens of thousands of entries into the Senior Maths Challenges, so this is a huge achievement for Joey. Megan also scored very highly, narrowly missing out on the Olympiad. Gaining merit in this competition were Maya, India and Isa.
Congratulations also to all those who participated in the UK Senior Maths Challenge, we had an amazing set of results with almost three quarters of our Sixth Form mathematicians being awarded a certificate.
