We are proud of our school and are always delighted to show it off to prospective pupils and their parents, so please do book in to come and see us for a visit, taster day or to sit our entrance assessment.
Registration
If you think your child would enjoy The Maynard, you can formally apply for a place by returning the completed Registration Form which can be downloaded here (For entry into the Sixth Form, please use the Sixth Form Registration Form here). We will also request references and/or the most recent report from your daughter’s current school.
Entrance Assessment Days
We have set dates every January for our Entrance Assessments into the Junior and Senior School. However, if you are unable to attend the group event, you can sit an individual entrance assessment at any time throughout the year.
For Entry into our Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2), you can arrange to come in for a Taster Session and informal observation at any time throughout the year.
Our Junior School Entrance Assessment Days are on Thursday 23 January 2020 (Year 3) and Friday 24 January 2020 (Years 4-6).
Our 11+ and 13+ group Entrance Assessment Day takes place on Saturday 18 January 2020 from 9am – 1pm.
Our Sixth Form admissions process involves an interview with the Headmistress, the Director of the Sixth Form and any other relevant Heads of Departments. We will also write to your daughter’s current school to request a reference, latest report and predicted GCSE grades.
Our Sixth Form Interview Evenings are taking place from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday 9 January, Monday 13 January and Tuesday 21 January 2020.
