WOW! Yesterday’s Senior School Sports Day was just the most spectacular show of unstoppable Maynard spirit!
Our students brought their A game to field and track events, and kept up that energy excitedly cheering on their friends and Houses, decked out as always in vibrant House colours and matching paint. This year’s athletes absolutely flew, and not one, not two, but THREE school records were broken: Lower 4s (Year 8) Charlotte and Freya broke the 80m and 800m records respectively, while Esme in Upper 3 (Year 7) smashed the 100m record – which had stood since 1998!
Whoop whoop and very well done to all of this year’s wonderful participants, to our remarkable record breakers, and to the winning House, Haberdashers! And of course, a huge huge thank you to everyone who organised and ran this amazing day!
