Upper 3 (Year 7) had an unforgettable day on their Geography trip to the Eden Project, being immersed in the living world and gaining an eye-opening insight into some of the UK’s most cutting edge sustainability practices.
The Eden Project in Cornwall is home to the world’s largest rainforest in captivity and boasts over 20 acres of outdoor gardens. Girls joined forces with the Education Team to understand the exciting breadth of animal and plant adaptations, then actively explored the Biomes housing thousands of plants to seek out those with some of those very features. Particular highlights were weird and wonderful finds like the ‘sausage plant’ and the ‘pom pom plant’!
