Xtreme Adventure weekend enjoyed by the Lower 4

The Lower 4 year group (Year 8) enjoyed a packed Xtreme Adventure weekend at Osmington Bay in Weymouth over 19-21 May 2017. Despite the inclement conditions, the whole group had a fantastic time abseiling, quad biking, fencing, zip wiring and honing their skills in archery.

The highlight for many was the enormous giant swing, the ultimate test of nerve, in which two girls are hoisted 10 metres into the air by their teammates before plummeting back down again! The dragon boat racing also brought out the more competitive spirit, particularly amongst certain staff members, and Miss Lavelle and Mrs Finnegan returned to school still basking in the glory of their victory!

A number of year groups will be heading off on their residentials over the second half of term, both as a treat following the exam period but also as key teambuilding exercises ahead of the next academic year.
