We welcomed a whopping 17 teams from local schools and The Maynard to the PAC yesterday for the ultimate test of wits – the Year 5 Primary Mathematics Team Challenge!
Budding mathematicians went head-to-head in a series of fun rounds, split up by a delicious lunch outside in the Rose Garden. After a full day of activities (even including a relay race!) and many, many sums solved, St Michael’s C of E Primary Academy were crowned winners, followed by St Peter’s Prep School in second place and West Hill Primary in third.
Congratulations to the winners and runners-up, and a big round of applause for all of the Year 5 Maths whizzes – you are stars!
