As a fine example of ThisGirlCan, Cecily Hine (Upper 6) won an impressive bronze medal representing The Maynard at the South West Qualifying competition for the British Shooting Schools Pistol Championships 2017/18 on Wednesday 11 October.
Competing against boys and girls, she finished the first round in the top eight to go through to a penalty shoot off where the lowest scoring competitor from each round is knocked out. Cecily held her nerve, despite such a tense environment, to take third place and qualify for the National Championships in January.
