With the mock GCSE and A-level examinations now complete, our sporting timetable has resumed in earnest. Every single Netball team from Year 6 all the way through to the Upper 6 enjoyed some competitive matches during the week beginning Monday 14 January.
Of particular note is some outstanding victories over Exeter Cathedral School for our Under 11 team and some excellent wins for our Under 15 and Under 12 teams against Truro School.
We have also resumed our weekly Junior School Gymnastics Club sessions with 30 girls taking advantage of the amazing facilities and coaching at the Exeter Gymnastics Club. A further 18 girls from Years 6 through to the Lower Sixth are working with coaches to prepare for our schools’ competitions and this year, for the first time, we are entering the British Schools Gymnastics Floor & Vault Competition with the Under 11, Under 14 and Under 19 teams.
