Alumnae treated to rare Private View of Beatrix Potter works

Several of our alumnae and friends of The Maynard School were treated to a stunning view of some of the Beatrix Potter works at the V&A Museum in London on Monday 3 October. Our enormous thanks to Old Maynardian, Emma Laws, who as curator of the ongoing Beatrix Potter exhibition was kind enough to allow us a close-up encounter with some of Potter’s most exceptional artworks. The highlight came when attendees were even given the opportunity to pose with seven of the original drawings for Peter Rabbit

It was a fascinating afternoon and a huge privilege to handle such special illustrations from one of Britain’s most famed authors!
