What better to inspire Upper 6 (Year 13) physicists than a talk from famous face of science, Professor Brian Cox?
Girls were treated to a completely mind-blowing talk on the history of cosmology, the evolution of the universe and the beginning and end of time at the Princess Theatre in Torquay. Brian Cox’s clarity of communication accompanied by high-resolution images of the universe from the Hubble and James Webb telescope will inspire the young physicist’s pursuits into science for years to come. Head of Science, Mr Ridler, commented, “It has left the students, Mr Wood and I feeling very pleased that we chose to study Physics.”
