Interview practice for our budding medics

The prospective Upper 5 to Upper 6 medics were put through their paces on Tuesday 22 January 2019 when Vicky Downie, an expert from King’s College, London joined us to present a workshop on mini medical interviews. This was a great way for our students to gain valuable ‘inside information’ about how to prepare for and tackle the tricky new style of university interviews. As part of the process, they also practised answering a variety of questions including, ‘You can choose five people to save from a nuclear attack. Who would you choose and why?’! It was a fascinating insight into how the process works and all the girls agreed they feel much better informed for attending and more prepared to tackle the application process.
